The Lost World Of Umbai

The journey of 2 hours took 4, just because of certain someone refused to use the well-laid highway. After circling mountains, rivers, kampong bunians and a few Chinese opera, we arrived at Umbai hungry, dizzy and annoyed.
Upon the suggestion of the toilet attendant (????), we settled at Stall No. 5, which maybe the biggest mistake all night. The seafood tasted like chewable, tasteless wood. But then, we still managed to gnaw almost everything in front of us with the help from Ina and Piah.
Still frustrated, we’re planning to visit Kuala Perlis next month.

Eastbound Part II : Zainal's Wedding

I would really like to apologize to Zainal’s for my lack in talent in photographing the most important day of his life. Accidentally messed up the camera setting, most pics taken were fucking ugly. So, I gave up after taking a few. Luckily, he did hire a more appropriate expert for the occasion.
Adjusted everything using Lightroom to minimize my mistakes.

Eastbound Part II : Masjid Kristal

There’s nothing remotely interesting about this piece of supposedly architectural landmark of Terengganu. Located in incomplete Islamic Garden, which happen to have the Spiral Minaret, the drive tracking the mosque was hellish (hahahhaha).

Eastbound Part II : Misc Terengganu
|
|
Went to Terengganu again but this time it's almost purely for Zainal's wedding, not just fulfilling our gluttonous nature.
Started the journey around 5am at McDonalds and reached Besut at 4pm. The drive, which should’ve been only 6 hours, took longer when surrounded by political lunatics trying to change the country. We spend a sleep-deprived night at Besut with 20 kg of seafood and watching the election result rather closely on the 14” TV.

Ina's Wedding
|
|
Led by Hj. Ridzuan, a team of around 7 cars managed to crept to some distant abyss called Gemetir Seberang in celebration of Ina’s much awaited wedding.
The meat was eatable, the rain was pouring and the singing was horrendous. Whatever it was, most troops deserted the scene in a flash, leaving only two cars behind to actually spend time with Ina and kept reminding her that she’s still as chunky as usual.
Too much photos taken and as a result, being slaving myself for hours just to upload one-third of it. If you wants more, ask Ajon. There’s still lots of calls for me to answer.
